Library Rules

• Every member must sign in the Entry Register available at the entrance.
• Strict silence and discipline must be maintained in the Library.
• Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the Library premises.
• Eatables/bags/personal books or journals will not be allowed inside of the Library.
• Users are requested to deposit their bags/belongings (other than valuables) at the Personal Belongings Counter.
• Readers should not mark, underline, dog-ear, write, tear pages or otherwise damage the library documents.
• No library material can be taken out of the library without permission.
• Suggestions on all aspects, of library services are welcome.
• Reference Books/ Reports will not be issued from the library.
• New User should register as member at the counter before borrowing.
• Books will be issued only on production of valid membership Identity Card.
• Books borrowed must be returned on or before the due date.
• Users are requested to verify the physical condition of the book/s before borrowing.
• For late return of books, overdue charges will be collected as per rules.
• Users are requested to collect receipt for overdue amount paid by them.
• Books will not be lend unless the ticket are produced.
• Deposit money will not be refunded unless all the tickets are returned.
• The user are responsible for all books borrowed upon it.
