Feedback of the Participants

Summary of the analysis:

As part the programme evaluation, the HRDC collected programme-wise feedbacks from participants on the lectures delivered in the Refresher Courses, with the following five parameters:

  • 1. The lecture being relevant to the announced topic
  • 2. The level of coverage of the topic
  • 3. Lecture session being interesting and informative filled with interactions
  • 4. Overall rating of the lecture
  • 5. Any other comments /suggestions of the topics/programme/course

The statistical analysis of the participants' feedback on the lectures delivered in the seven Refresher Courses during the year 2014-2015 was shown in (Participant Feedback Table) and (Resource persons Feedback on Participant table). The results of the analysis showed that the participants of the Refresher Courses were strongly agreed (from 58.3% to 69.6%) that the lectures were relevant to the announced topic and from 47.1% to 63.4% of the participants were opined that the level of coverage of the topic is very high. Participants ranged from 47.9% to 67.9% were strongly agreed that the lecture is interesting and informative. The Overall Rating of Lecture, ranged between 49.3% and 70% of the participants were given very good rating. Overall, the participants also suggested that lectures should be interactive and multi-disciplinary in nature. Further, they asked the HRDC to bring more industry experts and also arrange topics like curriculum development, question paper setting, academic writing and quality research proposal writing, funding sources and hands on experience and activity based lectures to understand the concepts and contents better
